Biography of Nandamuri Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna was born on 10th July 1960 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu who was also known as Balakrishna. He is an Indian actor, producer, and politician. Over forty years, he performed in over 100 Telugu films himself as one of the prominent actors in Telugu cinema. Three Nandi Awards and one South Indian International Movie Award were bestowed to him. Since 2014, he has served in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly as a member of the Hindupur Constituency.
Early Life and family
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s name is N.T. Rama Rao has been a great Tamil actor and three times Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and his mother’s name is Basavatarakam. He spent his entire life in Madras because the Telugu cinema business was based there at the time. He migrated to Hyderabad during his teens after the Telugu Film Industry was located there. He graduated from Nizam College in Hyderabad with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Balakrishna Married Vasundhara Devi in 1982, when he was 22 years old, and they have three children.

Career
Balakrishna made his acting debut in the 1974 Tatamma Kala, directed by his father, N. T. Rama Rao. He appeared in various films including Daana Veera Soora Karna (1977), Sri MadvirataParvan (1979), Akbar Salim Anarkali (1979), and Sri Tirupati Venkateswarakalyanam (1979), all of which were directed by his father. He acted in AnnadammulaAnubandham (1975), a remake of Dharmendra’s Hindi film Yaadon Ki Baaraat, as a brother to his life father, Rama Rao, when he was 16 years old. In the film, Dana Veera Sura Karna Balakrishna played the son of his real-life brother NandamuriHarikrishna.
Balakrishna appeared in the film ApporvaSahodarulu, directed by K.Raghavendra Rao, in a dual role in 1987. In the same year, he appeared in Tatineni Rama Rao’s president GariAbbai and Kodi Ramakrishna’s MuvvaGopaludu. Some of his very famous films are Inspector Pratap, Bharatamlo Bala Chandrudu, Tiragabadda Telugubidda, and Raktabhishekam. In 1989, he starred alongside Vijayshanti in Kodi Ramakrishna’s MuddulaMavayya. He appeared alongside Shobana and Nirosha in A. Kodandarami Reddy’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari in 1990. In the same year, he starred opposite Vijayshanti in B. Gopal’s Lorry Driver.

Political Career
Balakrishna has fought for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) since its inception, but he did not engage in the electoral war until 2014. He went on a political campaign for TDP throughout the East Godavari area on a holiday to his father-in-law’s resident he ran for the TDP in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections and won the Hindupur Assembly Constituency seat by a wide margin. Since 1983, Hindupur, in the Anantpur district, has been a TDP Stronghold. It was formerly represented by his father, and afterward by his brother NandamuriHarikrishna for some time. Balakrishna is the family’s third representative in the state Assembly.
