Dilin Nair, professionally known as ‘Raftaar’ is an Indian dancer, rapper, lyricist, music composer, and TV personality. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a dancer. After a few years, In 2008 he made his first rap with Lil Golu and Young Amli and then started posting recorded songs on social sites.
Raftaar was signed for Punjabi music band RBD. He has a good potential in learning languages, being a Malayali he learned Punjabi and Haryanvi as it is the trending music languages nowadays. Then in 2016, he was endorsed to Zee music company and it was the beginning of his solo career.

After his rapping career in 2008, he joined Yo Yo Honey Singh as a part of the group Mafia Mundeer. Later he was split from the group. In 2013, Raftaar released his mix debut tape named “WTF- Witness the Future”. He made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the song ‘Tamanche Pe Disco’ which became very popular at that time.
In 2014, His song ‘Swag Mera Desi’ won Best Urban Song at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards. In 2017, Raftaar also worked in the Bengali music industry. Raftaar has also collaborated with Varun Dhawan for the second edition of Breezer Vivid Shuffle.
Raftaar is also a gang leader of MTV Roadies which is a popular reality show. He is also one of the judges of MTV Hustle and Dance India Dance.
