Veena Devi serves as an Indian politician and a member of parliament from Vaishali, Bihar. She has also served as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Gaighat constituency. Veena Devi contested in the 2019 Indian general election with Lok Janshakti Party from Vaishali and defeated Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.
Political Career
Veena Devi participated in the 2010 Vidhan Sabha poll in Gaighat with BJP and became an MLA. She contested on the BJP ticket.
She is an ex-Chairperson from Muzaffarpur. She served her duties as the chairperson in the year 2001.
In 2006, Veena Devi also served her duties as the deputy chairperson of Muzaffarpur.
In 2021, she replaced Chirag Kumar Paswan in the parliamentary chairperson election and became the chairperson.

Veena Devi was born in the year 1967 in Darbhanga, Bihar. As of now, she is 54 years old and is a member of the Lok Sabha since 2019.
Veena is the daughter of Upendra Prasad Singh and Sabujkala Devi. She completed her matriculation. Thereafter her parents got her married to Dinesh Prasad Singh.
Dinesh Prasad Singh is the MLC from Muzaffarpur. They live in Daudpur village. The couple has two sons and two daughters.
Her son named Shubham Singh died in a road accident in 2018.
