Bachelor of Computer Applications or BCA is designed keeping in view the latest industry requirements. The course includes Theory of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Mobile Applications, and Data Science with equal weightage given to practical concepts where they focus on real-time problems using R, Python, and Tableau and the project work includes a merger of all technologies taught during the program. After completion of BCA, the next degree is MCA.

BCA is three years six semesters course. The minimum qualification which a potential candidate requires is that he should have passed the 2nd PUC / HSC / 12th grade or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Institution. It is a full-time course. A candidate should have a high-end laptop with all licensed software with high-speed internet connectivity. Students are awarded grades based on their performance for each course in a semester and semester grade point average (SGPA), which is a measure of the academic performance of a student in a semester. Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is used as a measure of the overall cumulative performance of a student’s overall semesters. However, the CGPA is invariably calculated from the second semester onwards to facilitate students’ know their academic progress.
